Prediction markets carry risk
Trading on prediction markets can lead to the loss of the full amount you put in. Prices can move quickly, and a market can resolve against you even when the odds looked favourable.
Odds are not guarantees
A price of 70% means the market currently implies a 70% chance, not that the outcome will happen. Markets can be thin, and a few large orders can move prices without any new information.
Differences between platforms
Polymarket and Kalshi differ in regulation, settlement currency, fees and resolution rules. Two markets that look the same can resolve differently. A price gap between platforms is not a guaranteed profit once fees, spreads and rule differences are taken into account.
Availability
Prediction markets may be restricted or prohibited in your country. It is your responsibility to check that you are allowed to use a platform before you trade.
